I can feel it, when massive amounts of my surroundings are about to change. My asshole hillbilly neighbors are moving. The house across the street is empty. They just built a shopping center very near my house with some of my favorite stores. New restaraunts everywhere, and one of my favorite Indian restaraunts is moving to less than a mile from my house. Things are mostly going well.
Except for everytime things start to go smoothly, my husband hurts himself or someone dies. This week both happened; D got another staph infection in his arm from a spider bite, and one of his ex-brothers-in-law passed away. What a week.
I just hope that all of the change around me is for the better, because I'm not resistant to change. I'm quite open to it actually, hoping that more opportunities open up. It seems if you listen to the news the national economy is in the shitter, yet the area around me is booming. I, of course, take everything I hear in the media with a grain of salt.
Like this swine flu. 1 person has died from it. 36,000 people die from complications of the regular flu every year. Why is everyone freaking out?? Oh yeah, there's not enough substantial news to report on.
It could be worse. And hopefully, it will be better soon.
